Kelly Rowland – Commander

August 10th, 2010

Commander is Kelly’s new attempt at a top ten hit and she’s done the job! It’s flown straight to the charts and I expect to see it there for a little while.

August 10th, 2010

I’m starting to think that many of Lady Gaga’s songs sound the same which is a bit of a shame. This one is no exception – if she can be original on the catwalk, why can’t she do the same with her songs? Oh well - maybe you disagree?

Lady Gaga – Alejandro

August 5th, 2010

We may never hear the end of Alejandro, the hit sensation from Lady Gaga. Love her or hate her (and don’t judge her by her fashion sense too quickly), we’re left wondering who on Earth Alejandro is. I haven’t had such rubbish stuck in my head for so long since Rihanna gave us Umbrella!

Shakira – Waka Waka

August 5th, 2010

Waka Waka (This Time For Africa) has been a great success for Shakira who introduced the song for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Joining Shakira is Freshlyground in this strangely catchy, raw rhythmic jungle tune.
